Amazing teacher!! Alan has taught my son so much over the years, from piano skills to composition and music theory. He is such a good man, with an incredible amount of knowledge and experience. My son has been a student of the Baywood Studio from age 9 to the present 17 years he is today. We are not a musical family, so it has only been Alan that has guided our student to be able to perform well at an elite international music festival this past summer, and achieve a collegiate knowledge of Music Theory. Furthermore, Alan has peppered all the many lessons with fascinating stories of his many adventures, as well as historically relevant points of interest. We will always be very grateful to Alan for accepting our son, who was a complete Beginner, into The Baywood Studio.

My son started learning piano theory and performance with Alan around 6 years ago. His piano playing skills and musicianship in general have improved by leaps and bounds since then. Over the last few years, he has won numerous regional and state youth piano competitions thanks to Alan. Alan is a wonderful piano teacher who is very knowledgeable and patient with his students. My son is lucky to have Alan as his teacher!

Teacher Alan is the BEST!!! He is such an excellent piano teacher & an amazing human being. He is very dedicated & generous in sharing his expertise in music also life experiences & lessons as well.
