I just started guitar lessons two weeks ago, and it has already been a great experience. Greg is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that makes them easy to understand, even for a beginner like me. I really appreciate how flexible he is with scheduling and how he motivates me to choose music I’m interested in learning. That makes practicing feel more personal and fun. I’m excited to keep improving and would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking about starting guitar lessons!

I decided in my retirement years to learn how to play the guitar. I wasn't able to find anyone in my city, so searched for sources outside my area and found Greg at capitalFRET music studio in Helena. Greg is very personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and very patient, which is appreciated. I hope to be strumming my guitar around the campfire this summer.

Greg is a very talented and professional teacher. He has taught my son for almost five years now. Not only did my son learn different styles of music, he also taught him how to take care of his guitar, including how to restring his guitar. Greg is very kind and patient with kids and has an easy going teaching style. It is clear he is a passionate musician who wants to share his knowledge with others. Greg also provided guidance and advice to us on what equipment/tools would benefit our son. He also offers online lessons, which is helpful. I would recommend Greg for musicians with all levels of skill.
