RecentlyI made a recording of some of my personal and family history through the Family Legacies Project. Doing so brought back wonderful, and sometimes touching, memories. I confess that occasionally I became teary, while at other times I was smiling and laughing re-telling fun stories from my past. My children and grandchildren have listened to the recording. They have all said that they learned things about me and their grandparents (as well as great grandparents) that they never knew. They have told me how happy they are to have this recording as a way to preserve family history in my voice. I highly recommend making a Family Legacies recording as a precious gift to your children and future generations.
