I was looking for a path to a bucket list item. A lifelong guitar player, at 72, I decided that I wanted a recording studio experience. Synergy led me to Andrew Schatzberg at Landslide Studio. Being a neophyte, I was extremely excited…and nervous. Andrew and the pro supporting musicians immediately took care of the nerves and the draft that came off of working in this particular environment was a tremendously uplifting experience for the music and me personally. Andrew’s recording and production skills are a marvel and he damn sure knows how to order a great lunch as well. In summary, personable professionals with the knowledge to deliver amazing results. My wife and I have been performing together as an acoustic duo for years and were shopping for the right place to record our 1st studio EP. Our original music demanded a full band sound, and after interviewing studios in Asheville and Waynesville we chose Landslide Studios and the Landsliders. Andrew Schatzberg is not only a good person and great to work with, but he is a very efficient and knowledgeable producer. The band was great and the overall experience from beginning to end was exceptional. We will most certainly use Andrew again for our next project and would highly recommend Landslide Studios to anyone else looking for high quality recordings in a very comfortable environment! I cannot recommend Andrew at Landslide Studio enough. Recently, I had my three-piece fusion band travel from Charleston, SC to come in and record a few songs. The level of professionalism, passion for the music and overall work quality is worth every cent. I look forward to many, many more studio sessions at Landslide Studios!
