Brittany is the best music teacher in the area! Why? Because she teaches in a unique way that encourages true learning, and understanding. But beyond that, she encourages a community among her students, and provides guidance on finding extra opportunities, preparing for auditions, and goal setting. I was especially pleased with her willingness to allow my youngest kid to follow their musical interests from cello to guitar to music production to music theory to ukebass to piano. When I reached out to her because my husband wanted to learn violin, she recommended other teachers but also provided me with proof of her experience as a violin teacher so we could make an informed decision. Brittany is one of the best teachers I've had for music (bass). She has a great ability to explain complex music theory concepts in a way that both empowers the student and helps make learning much easier. Having her as a teacher improved my playing by orders of magnitude. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I've known Brittany for at least 20 years and watched how her students flourish under her instruction. I've studied on and off with her as well and can say by first hand experience, her teaching style is very clear, no nonsense, no stress and she makes a point on finding ways that help you as a student to truly learn. Not everyone processes learning the same way and her intuitive ability to feel what you as a student needs is phenomenal! Brittany is without a doubt, an excellent educator and I highly recommend her!
