If you came here looking for an amazing piano teacher Cate is the one! You will not be disappointed! My youngest daughter started piano with Cate when she was 6 years old. Cate was patient, kind, understanding, and encouraging. She plays beautifully and has so much talent. Our family truly lost a gifted, talented, and loved teacher and friend with her families relocation. We continued online lessons and Cate makes time in her schedule to accommodate us and has great communication at all times! One lesson with her and I am sure you will feel the same my family does.

I took lessons with Cate as an adult student just learning piano. It is very hard to start this as an adult and is a most humbling experience. Cate was wonderful. She is kind and patient and understanding. I expected to be embarrassed as I struggled with simple technique in front of such a talented musician, but she was nothing but sweet and encouraging. She was easy to contact and accommodating to my crazy schedule. What I truly appreciated was how she tailored the lessons to what I wanted to learn by working with me to choose the perfect music to get me motivated and excited to play. She clearly loves her craft and learning from her was a gift I was sad to give up when her family relocated.
