Similar to another reviewer, I imagined this place was a local record label putting out CDs and vinyl of local artists that happened to be just around the corner for Decipher Brewing. That piqued my curiosity, but I discovered it's actually this great community space for different types of artists which also hosts open mics, exhibitions, and other cultural events. It's just one of many cultural assets in Charlottesville that makes the community richer and hopefully will endure far into the future.

I'm embarrassed to admit that when I was invited to a meeting there, I assumed it was a vintage vinyl shop. It's way cooler than that. It's a space for art, community, discussion, cogent thought, common struggle, humanity, zines, stickers, and alternative media. It's a necessary place. Highly recommended, strongly encouraged. Please visit.
