Devin Spear, the engineer and owner of Exhale is one of the best in the area. One of the good guys, very easy to work with and an excellent ear for mixing. I’ve been working with him for years and I would not go anywhere else. The gear is top notch, from the pre’s to the microphones, the rooms all sound great, guitars, amps, synths etc… Devin is ridiculously efficient with edits and has a great ear for mixing. He also really excels at production and song craft and is a top notch musician himself.

Best local studio in NOVA area. The master at work, Devin, is one of the coolest, most laid back (and brilliant) engineers I've had the pleasure to work with. We've been recording our podcast (The Sober Pod) at Exhale for a while now and wouldn't dream of recording elsewhere. I also have a music project in mind Devin's been encouraging me to record.The price is right and the passion's alive @ Exhale Recording.
