Organized, thoughtful, meticulous, experienced, goal oriented are several words describing my experience with Joyful Voice. Matt worked with me for about three years. He is exceptional at recognizing where a student is at and pinpointing details for improvement. Matt would ask what my goals were, and as I progressed we revisited and updated the goals that I was working towards. I began as a novice, and singing is now a very enjoyable pastime. I can’t speak highly enough about Joyful Voice and would 100% recommend them to anyone—regardless of age, skill, or background—for voice lessons. I started working with them (specifically Matt) during the pandemic in 2020, via remote/zoom lessons. Although I was an adult, I had no prior vocal background or training—I just enjoyed listening to music and hoped this would be a way to deepen my appreciation. I still cannot believe how much progress I made so quickly, even in that first year.
