Great studio, been here twenty years. A couple own it and live in a house on the grounds. The studio is run by a wonderful engineer, Justin, who is super fast, courteous and will do as much or as little as needed. Dockside has amps, keyboards, plenty of in-house instruments. A dog ( and cat) friendly studio. there are house cats who come in the studio so if you are allergic ask them to vacum and keep the cats out. You can bring your pet friend into the studio. Everything is very easy peasy. Since the location is out of the way, about 15 miles from Lafayette, they include a large house in the fee. You can get food in Youngsville a few miles away, including Mexican, Middle Eastern, Chinese, or local fare like burgers and a pizza that's not terrible.. There is a Rouse's with lots

From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the welcoming atmosphere and high quality equipment. The team at Dockside is incredible and the owners are the best people you'll ever meet. I can't recommend Dockside enough – it's truly a gem in Lafayette! Five stars all the way!

My first visit was to lay down some background tracks for a gospel album for Laura Huval. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome by Laura Huval (Sweet Cecilia) & the owner Steve Nails. Later I met Steve's wife, Wish. It was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was loving, warm & very professional. Tony Daigle, the engineer is the best! I love this place!
