Returning to piano lessons after many, many years off and have gone through a few instructors before finding Nick. I appreciate the way he stays true to what my goals are and is always striving for ways to help make things click for me. His method for teaching music theory makes it approachable, and I love the way he can dissect and explain music in a logical and understandable manner. Nick has transformed my singing confidence and ability. With detailed explanations of how the voice works, how to use different techniques for varying timbres of sound, and how to use the consonants in words to produce interesting effects, he has improved my singing ability. While being flexible, Nicholas is also resourceful, presenting us with a nice selection of songs to practice that fit our range.
