I have worked with Kyle numerous times as a session guitarist. He has always been open to ideas while lending guidance when asked. His studio is well-equipped and has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. I am looking forward to many more sessions at Colborn Audio Recording in 2026. Thanks Kyle for all that you do!

I went in for one intro session to get some feedback on a few songs and I was really impressed by the level of feedback I got from Kyle. He was able to pick apart the music in a way that provided clear actionable changes while encouraging me to be even more true to the artistic core. I was impressed that he discovered fragments I had spliced together that didn't really belong together, and drew the original song out, and I really appreciated his ideas for restructuring the songs. I left feeling like I had even more than what I came in with and felt encouraged by Kyles positive but direct approach. I definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to try a session for song writing or recording help!

Kyle’s studio is top notch! He takes good care of high end equipment. The studio is fresh and pristine while also feeling warm with a relaxing aesthetic. Kyle records musicians as a musician. His ear for production and experience as a player himself are invaluable when working in his space. He allows artists lots of freedom in creating and is always willing to share his expertise if input is desired. Kyle’s work reflects quality and efficiency. His turnaround is more than reasonable on finished products, and he’s not haughty, always willing to hear feedback and any ideas on tweaks. He goes above and beyond when it comes to sharing advice and helping artists find their “lane.” Kyle is professional, knowledgeable, and knows how to help musicians bring their art and ideas to life.
