Went into Wonderland Studios to record 2 songs for my album that features legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff and Philip Bynoe on bass who plays for Steve Vai. Travis was easy to work with and the recordings came out awesome. I left my external hard drive for him to download the songs. I came back several weeks later to get the hard drive. I didn't do anything with the HD except put it in my file cabinet as I was going to get in mixed when I moved back to New Orleans. So fast forward 8 months later, I'm at the studio in New Orleans with the engineer I was using to mix and master my album. He opens the files and tells me my song All Along the Watchtower isn't in the Hard drive. So I text Travis and email him letting him know he didn't download the song to my HD and asked if he could send it to

As a musician of nearly 20 years, I have long dreamed of putting a band together, writing a song and going to a state of the art recording facility to have our sounds brought to life, and catalogued alongside the greatest recording artists of all time. That being said, the thought of going to a studio and recording was extremely intimidating to me. Am I could enough to do this? Are the engineers/producers going to think our music is stupid? Can I play to a click track? Blah dee blah, the list goes on. For this reason the idea of recording at home was very appealing to me. I spent the better part of a decade pursuing the home studio route, and found myself in a loop of recording, releasing, removing the release from the public eye, and re-recording.
