Working with Judy has transformed my artistry from the core. She is bold, magnetic, personable, and her love for the arts is contagious! Having studied voice in a variety of prestigious settings, including Berklee College of Music, I can honestly say that Judy Bechar bridges practical technique with intrinsic fire to fuel one’s unique brand and musical sound from the inside out. Before working with Judy, I felt technically proficient but a bit caught in the mental side, to the point that my voice felt slightly encumbered. By teaching me proper breath support and helping me explore a variety of repertoire perfect for my vocal tone she has helped me strengthen my vocal confidence both anatomically and mentally. I really enjoyed my singing lessons with Ms. Judy. She is incredibly nice, patient, and very fun to be around, which made every lesson something to look forward to. I came in wanting to develop another skill in singing and bring out my potential, and over time I’ve seen real improvement. I used to feel very self-conscious about my voice, but Judy helped me build confidence and sing with more emotion. On top of that, she gave me amazing opportunities, including being part of a video and spending months practicing before being in a recording studio. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m very grateful for everything I learned from her.

As a classically trained singer on a 29 year hiatus, I came to Judy to get my voice in shape for an upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall. What a fortunate day it was to find her. Judy prepared me with vocal excercises with only 5 weeks notice and was extremely accommodating with her tight schedule, given my deadline. She is an amazing vocal coach and a genuinely kind individual. Judy has impeccable instincts and really understands the individual needs of her students. Above all, her knowledge, patience and encouragement provide the perfect atmosphere for success. If you are not already shining from the reflected glory of this accomplished international performer, you will shine from within once she has you singing.
