It is understood that Kirby Velarde is a brilliant musician. He has a fine-tuned ear, with the timing of a dance. It was refreshing for me to see these same qualities used in his producing. Kirby understands the music but also becomes in-tuned with the artist to hear and execute their vision. Personally, there were times that I needed to discover and listen for myself and times when I needed him to draw something new out of me. Kirby mastered that beautifully and the result is beyond what I could have asked for.

Kirby Velarde is a rare talent. A world class musician with a discerning ear as a recording artist. I’ve known him for many years, and his musicianship, his ability to track down and find the sound he wants through research of the technology available today is remarkable.
