Recording at Koop Studios was easily one of the best choices I ever made for my music. Besides the fact that Matt Graff is a fantastic drummer and engineer, he also has a genuine care for each project he takes on. The amount of focus he puts into making sure your song comes alive is extraordinary. Its amazing. Matt has the special ability of bringing out the best in the artists he works with and I was lucky enough to experience it firsthand. Matt mixed my bands last EP and did a fantastic job with it. The mixes were commercially competitive and delivered on time. Matt took the time to sit down and make small adjustments to the mixes with the band at the end of the process. If you would like to listen to the results, the EP is on spotify. The band is called Vertigo Drift and the EP is called Meltys Mix Tape. We have since returned to record drums at the Koop and the results were big, tight full sounding drums with no phase issues. If you are in need of recording, mixing or mastering services, the Koop is a great choice.

Matt is a jewel. Hes all hands on deck, great guy to make the good work happen. He will make suggestions if you want, or be a stellar engineer for you if just want that. He's a team player, tireless worker, and super nice, easy and special to be around. We enjoyed the experience very much, and I have worked in a myriad of studios from LA, Auckland NZ, Haddam Connecticut, Seattle, with my bands Rough Church and Man's Body, so I do know what Im talking about. All 5 guys in Man's Body who recorded there that day all left very, very satisfied. Really Happy!
