My horror punk band Terror Inc. recorded the drums and vocals for our first album with John at Watercourse Sound, and we were absolutely thrilled with the quality and skill he brought to every song we did with him. He did an incredible job mixing and mastering the album for us as well. The quality and verity of equipment he had for us to use was awesome! We recorded the guitar and bass ourselves and he even loaned us mics to use! Super professional and incredible knowledgeable in recording, I do not think the album would have turned out as well without his work and insight. I know we are planning to return to Watercourse Sound in the coming year to do a second album and possibly an EP. The studio itself is great as well. Nice and homey while still producing great sound quality, and plenty

My band Janelle recently went to John's Watercourse Sounds studio to lay down the framework for an album we are working on. It sounds awesome! I've recorded with him him multiple times over the past 13 years. This was the 3rd time I've used him at this current location. Hands down the best drum and bass sound I've ever had the pleasure of laying down! Great room sound & acoustics, not just for drums and bass but for everything. He has a wide variety of recording gear that will blow your mind. Location is beautiful & secluded in the woods. He's such a cool, nice guy as well. We drove all the way from Philly to go to him. If you don't know about this place, you should!

Years ago I had recorded with John in a band I was in called Double Zero/Grandview. As a young musician I remember how nervous I was recording for the first time and how relaxed John made you feel. To me, this is an important factor when looking for an engineer to work with. So when I decided to record an EP with my recent project called The Black Fins, I knew right away I wanted to record at Watercourse Sound. Over 10 years had passed since that first recording session with John and not much had changed besides the location of his studio which is currently in the mountains of Mechanicsburg in a beauti
