There are times when writing a review seems like a chore, but writing this one is an absolute pleasure to do. My son, Connor has been taking vocal lessons with Mr. Phil Diaz at Inner Awakening Music Studios for over 3 years now and we could not be more impressed with Phil and his ability to connect with his students and help them achieve their goals vocally. My son’s first vocal instructor had no rapport with him or with us. Phil was a breath of fresh air from the beginning. He is very welcoming and accepting of his student’s many demand and really does his best to offer lessons at times that work for his students and not demand that they pay for lessons they are not able to do on weeks when they may have many other demands on their time. Phil Diaz is an amazing and talented voice teacher and person. Our son has made great progress in a short amount of time, since he started working with him this year (his chorus and theater director noticed his improvement a month or two after starting his lessons). Phil is very patient, kind and creative in his teaching methods. He is always positive and encouraging, and his passion for music and teaching truly shines. Thank you, Mr. Phil!
