I had the privilege of being one of Michael Daniel's bass guitar students for a little over 2 years. Being an older adult student, I had very specific things I wanted to learn and wasn't interested in another instructor who just wanted to teach me a song so that he could jam with me. I was a self-taught bass player who, after a number of years of self-taught learning, plateaued out of what I could play and do on the bass and needed more structure and foundation.
