Matt is the BEST! My 10 year old son has been having his lessons with Matt for a while now and he’s improved so much. He cares about teaching him the things he should know and focuses on the music that my son really likes to play as well. He’s so encouraging and kind and my son looks forward to classes every week. He teaches so many different techniques and has so much patience. I cannot recommend him enough!

I can't say enough good things about Matt! As an adult beginner, I was nervous about starting guitar lessons, but Matt made has made the process both easy and enjoyable. From the very first lesson, he was so encouraging and patient. He challenges me just the right amount — I’m constantly learning new things, but it never feels overwhelming. His teaching style is both fun and focused, and he knows how to push me to do my best without making me feel discouraged. I’m so glad I found him. If you're looking for a teacher who will make learning guitar both rewarding and enjoyable, he’s definitely the one!

My 14 year old son started taking guitar lessons at a well known guitar store about a year and an half ago. Every time he got comfortable with a guitar teacher, that teacher would leave. We would have to try different teachers almost every other week making it difficult to learn so we stopped his lessons. The day we canceled his lessons someone walking around the store overheard how frustrated we were with the lessons recommended that we contact Matt. We contacted Matt and went in for a lesson at his studio. My son and Matt just clicked. Matt is very patient and spends the time with my son on how to properly play the guitar and to change his poor playing habits learned from YouTube and they have fun doing so.
