Working with Franc Village Studios proved to be a unique experience. I had the opportunity to work with the owner, Gregory Vilfranc, on two separate occasions and was pleasantly surprised by his enthusiasm toward post-production sound work, but also toward my projects, specifically. At the onset, I felt at ease turning my film projects over to Gregory because he approached the work like he also had a stake in the positive outcome of each film. I didn’t feel as though it was just another gig for him. However, what I came to appreciate most about working with Gregory was how extremely detailed he is as well as how communicative he is when troubleshooting issues he may encounter along the way. Franc Village Studios delivers amazing customer service, Audiobook recording (With an amazing pool of Voice Actors), sound design, and plain old friendliness. They are very welcoming, patient, and understanding of clients from all backgrounds. I am not tech-savvy at all, but Franc Village Studios provided one-on-one, client-focused, sessions to ensure high quality recording and helped me decrease my user-error a ton. Franc Village Studios was a pleasure to work with; they treated our film with the utmost care and detail. I'm a perfectionist and have a close-knit team with whom I work, so I am sometimes very cautious about collaborating with production houses outside of our team - but I was very grateful to discover that Gregory and Franc Village are perfectionists, too, willing to go back and forth on the minutiae of our project's soundscape.
