Xander is a phenomenal guitar teacher. Besides being an incredibly talented musician, he is highly skilled at guiding students in the right direction- knowing which things to focus on at certain times, and which to come back to later. He is intuitive and has a keen sense of how to keep students intrigued & interested, yet not overwhelmed. I'm mainly self-taught, and he helped give me a good sense of additional fundamentals that I wanted to learn, as well as patiently answer all of my meandering questions. He's also great at keeping it fun, and reminding why we're playing music in the first place- for the love & enjoyment of it. Study and play with Xander; you won't regret it!!

I met Xander a few years ago for guitar lessons. I had taken lessons twice before with other teachers but never had much success. I immediately connected with Xander's approach and, for the first time, found myself actually able to play songs! He has unbelievable skill and knowledge, but what truly makes him stand out is his ability to break down complex material and tailor his approach to each musician’s level. Over the past year, Xander has also helped me with my original music. He has enhanced my arrangements to make them more engaging and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the sound, structure, and overall feel of my compositions. I have been taking guitar lessons from Xander for over a year now. I have learned alot and learning more each lesson. He has a special insight for teaching students like me. I'm very glad I found him. Xander also plays the piano and drums. I like it when I can play a rhythm on the guitar and Xander plays the drums or piano to my rhythm.-
