A magnificent store with top of the line instruments. The true value us their group of instructors. I learned and played with the one I consider the best, Nick Smith. We moved 4 years ago and he still teaches my daughter in WA. If you're looking for old school, methodology, some bluegrass, Nick is your man. That being said, everyone there is great. I've been around the country, taken lessons in some of those places, DC is the place to go if you live anywhere North or South of Jackson. Check them out!

I like this music store.I bought a PRS $1200 acoustic that was really nice.The owners are really nice and the people that work their are too.I would have done more businesses with these guys but didn't have the money.Do business with these guys instead of Guitar Center I have had many bad experiences at Guitar Center and other stores in Jackson Mississippi overing you ridiculously low prices on gear when you sell it to them and then turn around and try to sell it for like brand new.Guitar Center is terrible about doing that.I have never sold anything here but I like this store way better than Guitar Center.One of the owners an African American guy was very friendly to me and would have made me a deal on some gear but I didn't have any money at the time or I would have bought something.

On October 15, 2024 we purchased a Fender Bass Guitar. This was an item on my husband's bucket list. On November 9, 2024 my husband passed away. My husband enjoyed playing his new Fender guitar twice before he passed. I went to return the $1,400 guitar to DC Guitar Studio and was informed by the owner that they had a strict 2 week return policy. I guess according to DC Guitar Studio my husband should have died within 14 days of purchase instead of 25 days, and I should not have taken any time to grieve before returning the $1,400 Fender guitar. I would not do business with a company that has no empathy or compassion.
