If you're anything like me and have fear/anxiety about singing in public, Cheri is for you! I never thought I would have the courage to perform on stage, but with Cheri's help my dream has become a reality. Cheri made this possible because she creates a safe and welcoming environment through her kind, caring, and compassionate approach. In four months working with Cheri my voice has gotten stronger, increased in range, and grown in confidence. Cheri spent a couple of hours working with our vocalists at the Genesis Project on breath control and vocal technique, and the improvement was immediate. We’re now able to project more confidently and sustain notes longer than before. She taught us practical tools for breath and body control that none of us had ever learned. Cheri is incredibly patient, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about music, and it shows in the way she teaches. Her instruction is truly exceptional.

Cheri is absolutely amazing at being able to transform someone’s voice to its full potential. She has a ton of experience and knowledge in the world of music. I am so much more confident in my voice and it shows in my stage presence and confidence! She has a way of not only helping with vocal techniques, but also helping you see yourself in a more positive light. Cheri is also in a local band, so she is living what we all do or some day want to do. I very highly recommend Cheri for voice and/or piano lessons as well. I plan to delve into piano with her too when I get time.
