We’re coming up on our two-year anniversary at San Dimas Music Academy with our four children, and I felt it was important to share just how grateful we are for their teachers — piano with the inspiring and joyful Ms Heidi, piano with the lovely and vivid Ms Moria, violin with the skilled and gentle (yet firm) Ms Nevada, and then our fourth who plays saxophone. We are most grateful for Mr. Sayle who not only is a true brass player but has been exceptionally patient, calm and encouraging with our youngest. Out of all the teachers and coaches our son has had over the years, Mr. Sayle has been the most patient teacher we have ever met. Truly. My son has been taking piano lessons with teacher Gibb Mandish, and we couldn’t be happier! He is very patient and teaches with genuine compassion. What we appreciate most is how he listens to my son—even when he shares stories not always related to music. Teacher Gibb is knowledgeable, passionate, and collaborative, and he knows how to connect with young learners. He makes every lesson enjoyable and encouraging, helping my son build both skill and confidence. I also want to mention Amy at the front desk — she is always helpful, accommodating, and approachable. She makes scheduling and communication so easy and pleasant. My grandsons take piano lessons with Mr. Gibb weekly. He is a patient, knowledgeable and kind teacher. Both children enjoy their sessions and performed well at the recitals.
