This was our first time working with Jack who came highly recommended by my good friend Dirk Billie and top notch drummer Doug Belote (who was playing drums on my project. Jack was fast and quite well versed in all things Protools. He’s a quick editor and gets killer drum and percussion sounds. I hope to work with Jack again, soon! Thumbs up, fo sho!

After being immersed in the New Orleans music and recording scene for 5 years I can honestly say Jack Miele is the best recording and mix engineer in the city if not the south east region. He also possess an extensive knowledge of music theory while maintaining the skills of a virtuoso guitar player making him one of the best Rock producers in the south. Yet his talent is not limited to any genre. Jack has an incredible ear and a knack for getting the best performance out of any artist. To top off his skills and experience as a producer/engineer Jack has an amazing knowledge of gear and has the facilities to back it up at The Music Shed. You will find that The Music Shed has modern and vintage equipment capable of achieving virtually any sound an artist could want especially with Jack Mie

I've had the pleasure to know and work with Jack Miele over the years, and I have to say that he is one of the most advanced engineers in the Louisiana area. His musical repertoire in not just multi-genre music history and production, but he is advanced in music theory and songwriting arrangement which is just as impressive. He puts so much attention to actively listening the entire session, and he can spot tonal problems that most won't even catch. He is the type of guy that will pause a recording after a take and help a drummer try out a snappier snare drum or dampen toms for the benefit of a tighter drum tone.
