★ 5 · Benson YangI've been attending Seeds of Music for over two years now, and I can confidently say this school has been life-changing—not just for me, but for my family. As an adult learning drums, I never imagined I’d be playing in a real band, performing live on stage in front of an audience. I currently have performed at over a dozen events through this academy and the experience is amazing. Seeds of Music doesn’t just teach you how to play an instrument—they teach you how to play with others. Their band program is truly special. ★ 5 · John RosenMy daughter is a member of the Seeds of Music Academy's newest/youngest band, The Chefs, and so far it has been a wonderful experience. Chris is an excellent teacher and works extremely well with the kids. Not only has my daughter learned a lot from Chris and from singing with a band for the first time, but she was able to have the experience of performing publicly at the Livermore Farmer's Market (which she loved). I was blown away by how good the band sounded at their first performance after just two months of rehearsals!

★ 5 · Jason JeffriesChris has been the music coach for my son's band - Kind Viper -for 6 years. The band started as a "Middle School" rock band, and they have been together this entire time, even through COVID protocols. Chris has helped the kids grow as musicians and as people, giving them a safe space to learn and to express their own opinions through musical choices and arrangements. Chris does a wonderful job of getting the bands into events and venues including the Danville Independence Day parade, an online showcase during pandemic protocols, and an indoor/evening gig at the Bankhead Theater. Kind Viper has grown tremendously as a band, playing different and more challenging music, and harmonizing on vocals with multiple singers. The other bands that play at the shows have also seen loads of growth, and
