Really friendly! I have been working with the Nest at the Black Owl Studio for a couple of months and they have been super helpful with not only music production, but how to succeed in music. I was able to start from almost no knowledge of music other than singing to having my own songs on all platforms. I seriously recommend anyone who is interested to reach out! Lucas is super welcoming and is passionate about music. DJ Matt Perry is super understanding and super helpful with all music productions.

Booking was simple, and the experience was outstanding. The space was clean and comfortable, and we were able to easily accommodate my 27 inch iMac! As far as the session, it was butter. Dj Matt Perry helped bring a few mixes and arrangements to a higher level. I felt great at the end of the session - tunes dropping soon.

We love Black Owl Studios and the guys who have assisted us - Lucas and Matt. They are professional and easy to work with but more importantly - they make us sound good! We are a Maine based 501C non-profit real estate organization - MEREDA. We started a Podcast and moved the recording over to Black Owl after the 1st year. Candidly, Black Owl was a more affordable option for us, and they have greater availability for recordings. The studio is not plush, but it is more than adequate for our needs. We are an audio Podcast only so sound quality and editing were two of our primary concerns along with cost and location. If you are looking for really good sound engineering, professionalism and some nice guys to work with, then I highly recommend Lucas and Matt and Black Owl. We couldn't
