Chris Magruder , owner and engineer is a talented and extremely passionate professional. His top notch studio is loaded with the best gear. There are two music rooms with plenty of space to set up full bands. Set in a beautifully remodeled post and beam barn the atmosphere is relaxing and conducive to creating your best music.

There is no place I would rather record. Thundering Sky is by far the best recording studio in Maine. Owner, Chris Magruder gets the best out of every performance. The beautiful, old farmhouse studio is very inspiring and always seems to get the most out of me. I have recorded at many different studios, but Chris at Thundering Sky keeps me coming back. You will not be disappointed!
