My son and took tandem guitar lessons with Joseph Mammarella (and few times with Matt). I have taken several guitar, bass, and piano lessons throughout my life and this was by far the best experience I've had. I have been playing guitar for 30 years and my son less than a year when he started. Joseph was an excellent and patient teacher - we came away from every lesson feeling exhilarated with new knowledge and excited about what we had learned - we never felt like a moment or dollar was wasted. I can't recommend this studio highly enough for a musician of any level.

A good place for a young learner to start guitar. Our teacher Ian is calm, helpful, and encouraging. My son always left his lesson in a good mood.

Adam took me on as a 61 year old guitar student who had never before played an instrument. He was patient, reassuring, but also pushed me enough to keep my lessons moving along. While guitar is way harder than it looks, Adam helped keep it enjoyable even if challenging.
