My teens have been seeing Doreen for a while now and I am so impressed with their progress. Her lessons are personalized and thought out for each kid. My son took lessons for a few months to prep for a role in a musical and he went from being a good singer to knocking socks off-he got so many compliments on his range and control after his shows. Doreen’s performance classes are great for my daughter who gets nervous singing in front of people. After a few months she feels more confident and actually enjoys performance.

If you are looking for a voice teacher that will build your confidence, skills, and technique in a way that’s tailored to your specific goals—look no further! Doreene is a gem. Doreene is not just a teacher; she is a friend. She cares about her students and their individual goals, she doesn’t tolerate techniques and styles that will injure the voice, and she’s always seeking to expand her knowledge base. Doreene is extremely supportive. She has come to support me and my boyfriend in shows, she uses the lesson time to its full extent, and she is very funny on top of it all! I cannot recommend Doreene more. She will help you sing your favorite songs, and perform them with confidence.

Doreen is amazing!!! She has helped my daughter train her voice and care for her vocal cords. We love that she has opportunities to perform and get feedback often (monthly) this spring she tried out and made the high school madrigals choir. I would say that Doreen definitely helped make that goal a reality! She has been a mentor and therapist for my daughter, the emotions come out through music and Doreen gives her students the space and time to express the feelings that bubble up.
