My band spent 2 full days recording an EP at Soft Cult with Matt Castore as our audio engineer and had an incredible experience! Matt is extremely knowledgable, friendly, welcoming, and an absolute master of his craft. He provided tons of great advice, constructive feedback, and creative ideas throughout the process. He works very efficiently and thoughtfully, and we were able to finish our project faster than expected and we’re thrilled with the final result. I would highly recommend Soft Cult Studio to anyone looking for an affordable and approachable, yet highly professional studio experience. We will definitely be going back to this studio for future projects!

In September, I had the pleasure of recording at Soft Cult for the first time, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this recording studio located in a great spot in Northeast Minneapolis. This was our first time in a real studio and it’s hard to imagine recording music in any different environment again. Soft Cult is affordable, comfortable, and makes efficient use of your time there. We worked with Jaxon and had a really great experience - he’s super kind, really organized, communicative, and gives the perfect amount of input and feedback during the recording process which allows you to be informed of your options without getting too deep in the weeds. He’s also an extremely fast editor and good with their recording software. If you need snacks or beverages, there’s a great co-op nearby and a decent coffeeshop right across the street.
