He has created a comfortable environment at Soundwave Studios with positive vibes and great acoustics! My experience working with John will stay with me my whole life because he not only was my music teacher and mentor, but gave me the confidence and feedback I needed to be able to pursue my music path. I wholeheartedly recommend John Dean and Soundwave Studios. Reasonable rates, good value for your money, and a very positive studio experience.

John is a multi-talented and incredibly competent teacher. He can teach and play many styles of music effectively. As someone who's been taught by him, recorded by him and has performed with him, I can confidently say he's a pleasure to be around and a fantastic musician! Additionally, his studio is very cool. A collection of old, new and just sweet instruments, along with his own beautiful handy work. Highly recommend!!!

John Dean is an excellent piano instructor who teaches with passion and patience. He is knowledgeable in a wide variety of playing methods, from classical pieces to jazz improvisation. Having been taught by him for many years, I would recommend him to anyone wishing to learn one of the many instruments he knows.
