Shopping experience in here didn't improved a bit in the past 3 years. Unprofessional staff never tried to help customers every time, had a simple question to ask but waited 15 mins because they said they are busy and never came back to follow-up. Instead of train your employees to treat customers with proper attitude, this store prefer to do soothing words online. No wonder more people are buying from Sweetwater.

The music lesson department of this guitar center is straight up fraudulent. I signed up a 1 month trial lesson for my kid and we finished the 1 month trial on the 7th. He’s not really interested in continuing the class after some discussion, so we decided to call in on Monday to cancel the lesson to avoid billing problem. And guess what “surprise surprise”, they charged us another full monthly tuition on Sunday, literally 1 day after the end of previous lesson cycle, without any notification of any sorts, and the person I spoke with said no problem he will take care of it. I only found out this scam during my 2nd follow up on Wednesday checking how come I never received any refund confirmation, only to be told that “once your money is in our pocket, don’t ever think about getting a single

I came in just to browse, been a long time since I bought a new guitar, but Ike was so helpful and knowledgeable and we ended up finding the perfect guitar for me. Then he helped me with some new strings, a case, and a strap, and I couldn't be happier. Being able to talk to someone who has a similar passion but more expertise is so critical for a musician, I'll definitely be coming back.
