I have to say-Music Land is absolutely incredible. I stopped in for the first time in a long while on Thursday, 10/30/25, just to browse and talk with the staff about what might be the best fit for my first guitar. They mentioned a Flash Sale happening on 10/31/25, but unfortunately my card wasn't working at the time. Later, I reached out to their Facebook page and received a very kind message from Larry (the owner), who assured me that once my card was working, they would take care of me. I don't know how I've managed to live in NE Baltimore County for more than a decade without knowing this place existed, but that grievous error recently corrected itself. Music Land hits a sweet spot that few independent music stores ever attain -- big enough to have a good selection of instruments and accessories at reasonable prices, but small enough to be a cornerstone of the local music community where customers feel valued, and friendly to longtime regulars and newbies alike. I went there with my partner while reeling from a very expensive and sudden home repair, so I walked out empty-handed, but I'll DEFINITELY be back when I'm in a better position to buy.

Music Land is one of the last great music stores with in 50 miles of me. I've been there many times in past 15 years and was always treated well. Their knowledge and staff are amazing. Their show room is more immaculate then Guitar Centers dungeon zones. Their repair people maybe the best in the Tri-state area and their live venue is exceptional.
