My son was Grant’s student back around the turn of the century. I enjoyed driving him the 45 minutes each way just to listen to each lesson! Glad to see Grant is still teaching! Getting ba ck in touch to mention a free performance of the PRESERVATION HALL JAZZ BAND at The Silver Spring jazz festival on September 6. The festival will run from 3 to 10 PM at veterans Plaza located at One veterans Place in Silver Spring. Preservation hall jazz band is scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 PM.

Grant is a great teacher and more importantly, a great person. I have enjoyed bringing my 12 year old son to him for drumming every Tuesday for 4 years now. Being a Baltimore native, he feels like family to us. Drumming and chatting has been like therapy in its own way. I highly recommend Grant.

Grant is a well respected instructor with a wealth of knowledge in the music industry that is second to none. He possesses the essential characteristics and skills to enhance your development in drumming. He is fun to be with, patient, motivating and makes each week's lesson one my highlights. It's easy to see that Grant is very passionate about your development as a drummer as he is very flexible to your individual needs. If you are looking for an exceptional instructor, you need not look any further. Grant is simply the very best!
