I am really sorry that the person who gave Low Tech Studios one star did not have a good experience and was unhappy, and only post this review to offer another opinion. I write and record music and music instruction, and have been doing so in Vermont for more than 30 years, after a decade of the same work in San Francisco. For most of those three decades, I've been using Low Tech Studios in Burlington, Vermont. If you are expecting a fancy studio with exotic lounging area and a fawning staff who will love your every note, don't come here. But Gus, the owner, has an excellent ear and will politely if very bluntly tell you exactly which cut or track sounds best, and when you should do another take (or ten).
