I've always loved theatre and worked backstage in high school, which was a fun experience. I also wanted to try being on stage but felt too shy or not good enough. However, when I saw auditions open at my local community theater for my favorite play, Ragtime, I thought, why not? I work in Nyack and saw that Rivertown Music Studio did audition prep. I emailed Chris, and he agreed to help me prep for my audition once a week from October until the audition in January. He was amazing to work with - direct, kind, and helpful. Both my sons have been enrolled for years at Rivertown. The entire program mirrors Chris’ personality. Patience, flexibility and the ability to set goals for growth stand out. The performances throughout the year are fantastic, we look forward to them for each act, not just the ones our kids are in. I can’t recommend Rivertown enough.

My daughter has attended for piano/vocal lessons for years. Her instructor is the best. Everyone has been very flexible and accommodating with her schedule over the years. I highly recommend!
