I was in New York (Manhattan) for a few days and needed to record some material. The staff granted me a 2-hour rental of Studio C. I was greeted very kindly with coffee, drinks, and comforting snacks. The environment is extremely quiet and clean, and with the top quality equipment. The staff quickly prepared the studio for my needs and professionally guided me through the initial setup. I then worked alone, by choice. Personally, it was a very pleasant experience, quick but very productive. Thanks for all.

Today I booked a studio session for a nationally broadcasted performance tomorrow. The owner, Ben, offered to reduce my minimum session to a 2-hour session rather than their usual 4-hour minimum if I paid cash. I paid the cash he required and was refused a receipt at the end of my session. I did tell him in advance that I would need a proper receipt. He ultimately had an intern handwrite the most ridiculous handwritten thing I'd ever seen (see pic attached). When I complained to the intern, I got a call from Ben and was refused any documentation of my booking. Then he hung up in my face mid-sentence. It's unfortunate that this location is being run by such a petty brat of an owner. He was totally unprofessional. We would never come back here again.
