Musicians of any caliber, whether you are a seasoned pro or an amateur looking to record your first track: you HAVE to work with John and Brick by Brick. Beyond the expansive collection of gear and the years of expertise, John is the absolute best. Just such a great dude. He's a fantastic collaborator, gives incredible, real time feedback, and is generous with his time and his talent. I can't recommend him and his studio enough. I will be going back for any music project I work on for years to come!

John, who runs Brick by Brick, is not only one of the most talented producer/mixers I have ever worked with, he has become one of my dear friends here in Brooklyn. He is very well connected and brings out the best artists for collaborative work. He comes to understand your vision and voice and curates the flow and sound of your track to better resonate with your artistic soul. The studio has a homey feel, he makes you feel welcomed and heard. I wouldn’t go with anyone else. If you’re looking to have quality studio sounding music with someone who actually knows what they are doing, go with Brick by Brick. You will not be disappointed. John is a man for the musician by a musician.

John, the engineer and owner of Brick by Brick, is a true professional. His knowledge of gear, recording practices, and music in general is extensive and he goes to great lengths to perfect the sound. His input is always on point, and the studio is always pristine and enjoyable to work in. One of my favorite parts about Brick by Brick, is the fact that John builds and maintains much of the gear himself which gives everything an extremely unique and high quality finish.
