The Koop has been nothing short of exceptional in every category. Sammy, Matt, and Deanna are some of the most personable, genuine, honest, and professional people I've ever had the pleasure of working with on my various recording projects. They are extremely flexible and accommodating and are always artist-first above all, while still keeping the best interests of the project in mind at all times. I can't recommend their studio and production expertise enough, The Koop is truly a hidden gem and in my opinion the best place to record drums and any musical project in the greater New York city area.

I have worked with The Koop both in person and remotely (Matt mixed a full album for me), and cannot say enough great things. Beyond all the wonderful tangible reasons to use The Koop (gear, coziness, etc.) are the people who make it what it is - they are professional, thoughtful, creative, and inspiring music creators who want to get the most out of each song. Can’t wait to work with them again!

My band and I had a very rewarding experience recording at The Koop this past weekend. Matt and his assistant Deanna (sorry if I butchered the spelling) were really easy to work with. Everything was well organized and they helped us get as much done as we possibly could in a full day session, but the atmosphere was still chill. Highly recommended!
