Mike is by far the friendliest and coolest person you will meet in your life time. The vibe at Little Cheddar is off the charts! There is an endless supply of coffee and cold drinks in the fridge. Extremely comfortable chairs to sit on with your coffee and the lighting is out of this world! Top of the line music equipment. Great location near the subway and you will easily and quickly find parking if driving. Little Cheddar IS the primer recording studio in all of NYC.

One of the best parts about Little Cheddar is that you have everything there. You can track your drums, using your own or the studio's. They have every kind of guitar you could ever want, and a few keyboards, too. You can take your project from start (Mike will collaborate to finish a song; he has with me), then take you through tracking and mixing, the whole bit. Five Stars.

Wonderful little studio. The owner, Mike, is an excellent engineer with an encyclopedic knowledge of gear, and music history. The studio equipment and instruments are extremely eclectic and run from vintage to modern. My favorite is the 1960s sunburst Fender jaguar. It is always a fun and satisfying experience recording here.
