Mr. Chen has been my daughters cello teacher for just over a year now, and we couldn’t be happier. She has grown so much as a cellist since moving to him. He’s brought her playing to a new level, without being mean or harsh. We hope we can always have him as her teacher!

I’ve been a student of Ms. Jina for 6-7 years now and she’s AMAZING. I really like her teaching style. She pushes her students to practice which they see really pays off later, and when I first started out with her, as an 11 year old, I really needed someone to push me because the teacher I was with before Ms. Jina, was very lax and never pushed me to practice, so I never really progressed much. But with Ms. Jina, the way she pushes her students to see their potential made me start practicing like 5-6 days in a week. She’s also inspiring so the things she says in lessons really pushed me to practice a lot too. Also, I like her personality!! She’s easy to talk to and genuinely, super funny a lot of times hahaha. For any musical instruments, it's one thing to play and another to teach how to play the instrument intricately. Mr. Chen does both very well. My daughter started taking cello lessons from Mr. Chen, at a young age. He knew how to teach young children and help them understand the concept behind certain techniques. He is an inspiring, flexible, and patient cello teacher. I definitely recommend Mr. Chen to anyone who looks for a great cello teacher.
