I cannot say enough about my guitar lessons with the owner Mat other than I've had a total 5 star experience! I'm an adult beginner with no music background still exploring my creativity, and Mat has stuck by my side along the way to make me super comfortable and free to express my interests. His open and flexible approach to each lesson is absolutely perfect for what I want out of my lessons. I've worked with Mat for about 8 months and I've learned so much about guitar - and even wrote my first song thanks to Mat! He is super talented, great at teaching and above all a super nice person. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would not hesitate to recommend his studio to anyone looking to explore music lessons.

My son has been at The Hinsdale Music Studio for seven years. And is still going strong. He mainly takes guitar, but has also taken bass and piano. And he wants to learn more. I attribute his desire to continue learning to Mat's attentive, supportive, and most importantly, customized teaching approach. Mat isn't only a great teacher to young musicians he is a top notch musician himself. I know that due to his extensive experience as a performer, he is an effective teacher. But, my son's enthusiasm and actual ability to play speaks for itself. My son has gone from not being able to play at all (prior to starting at the Music Studio) to being able to walk on any stage confidently and perform with poise and ease. I recommend the Hinsdale Music Studio!

Mat has been providing piano lessons for my daughter for almost 6 months, and is a wonderful teacher! She’s always loved music and Mat has been instrumental in her growth as a musician. He even makes and sends her recordings to me so we can listen to her rock out as a family! I would highly recommend Mat to anyone looking to enroll their child in lessons.
