I have worked with Paul for several years now on many projects, (the last of which was a solo classical piano album) and am always grateful for his professionalism, skill, patience, consistency, and clarity of communication. When working on my album he walked me through every step of the process, from recording the tracks, explaining the process of making and marketing music in 2025, to doing the complete master. Knowledgable about all genres. Recommend !

One of the few affordable studios left with a gorgeous grand piano. Besides the wonderful instrument, you get an amazing deal having Paul be the producer. His ear is incredible and attention to detail as a musician himself is super helpful. is fun, but in the times that it gets hard Paul is there to encourage you and challenge you to try it that one more time! Always have loved ever product I've recorded here and so has anyone else I've recommended.

I used Paul Tavenner's studio for the first time recently. I was producing a jazz vocalist and Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, had great ears and was a complete pleasure to work with. He is a team player and gives 100%. The studio is top notch and the sound that he gets is really beautiful. Paul was hands on and dedicated to having the best possible results. Paul took the time to hear exactly the sound that I was looking for and made that happen. I highly recommend Big City Recording Studio and will absolutely come back to do another recording.
