An Artist’s Engineer from (Lucianne Evans Music) In the music world the trends are always to define ourselves. There is no doubt as to how to define Van Taylor. He can produce, record mix and master. He is a singer’s friend. Patient yet fast. “All she wants to do is sing.” That’s what I was told when someone stopped short of finishing my project. Van said nothing of the sort. He took that ball and ran with it and I sang at his excellent analog microphone until I had exceeded my expectations. I still had a vicious deadline, but Van made it all work, which exceeded my expectations. I was blessed the day he picked up the phone and said he could do it. I would recommend him for any project. He has a unique and world class product.

Van has proven to be exceptionally fluent and knowledgeable at his craft. He is extremely proficient at navigating through Pro Tools, and works with a speed and efficiency that I have not been able to find in recent times. He is focused and attentive throughout the entire session, and is a man of kindness, integrity and great character. After working with Van for just a few sessions, I definitely plan to travel all the way from NY to work with him again in the near future! As a professional Jazz Musician, I highly recommend Van as a studio engineer for any serious recording projects!
