I recorded my 9 song acoustic album at Sound State with Alex Cruzzavela. He understood my vision and made special accommodations so I could live track vocals, acoustic, and bass guitar simultaneously. Right now I am working with a Berkley educated Mixing/Mastering Engineer named Corey Fisher in Pittsburgh. He praised Alex’s work tracking and capturing my songs - “The recordings are impeccable” (his words not mine). Sound State Studios is a place where your artistic vision can become reality for a reasonable rate. You MUST check them out.

I only have positive reviews to give for Alex at Sound State...from the very first call to the end result. My daughter was recording a song for her fiance. She was doing an acoustic version of Forever and Ever Amen, but needed a key change. Alex plays the guitar, so he recorded the track for her and gave it to her ahead of time to rehearse before she came into the studio. She has a great voice and Alex wanted to capture the feeling and the honesty in her voice...which he did so well. As a professional vocalist, I was impressed by how Alex went above and beyond to work long after we were gone to perfect the mix, yet still contain the magic of the emotion in her voice. Alex was organized, meticulous and honest, which was much appreciated. If you are looking for a great recording then this
