This is my first time taking Piano lessons and I am happy that I found Ian! I saw his information on yelp and gave him a call to set up a lesson. From the first lesson I could tell that Ian is knowledgeable and patient. He teaches in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Not only has my ability to play the piano improved but also my understanding of music theory has increased. I like that he also incorporates fun pop songs to learn. I would recommend taking Piano lessons from Ian!

Ian is an excellent piano instructor. He’s worked with my grandson for several years. My grandson is always happy to have his lesson time. Ian is kind, patient and very comfortable with young people. He’s been punctual and his rates are more then fair.

I have taken lessons with Ian for almost a year now, and I cannot recommend him as a teacher highly enough. Ian is patient, knowledgeable, and adjusts to my personal goals and abilities (and work/life schedule). Over the course of a year, I have learned to read musical notation and play correct rhythms. Again, I recommend Ian for a student of any age, at any stage of learning piano. He's terrific.
